Transmute is a helpful utility to synchronize your bookmarks in case you use different Internet browsers. This utility is also very helpful if you have decided to move to another web browser and do not want to lose your bookmarks, and simply want to save the time used when copying them manually. The program supports all popular web browsers, like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari and Chrome. With this utility you can also backup your bookmark collection. I started using this utility when I decided to use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. This utility has done a simple, but an exact job for me. The interface is really simple and user friendly. You just select your bookmark source, pick a destination and press export button. The program can also timestamp bookmarks. This feature is helpful in case you create a bookmark backup. Existing backups can be filled with new info or can be rewritten. Transmute also keeps the original structure of your bookmark folders and files. I would definitely recommend this simple and handy tool.
